Fabio Pecchia saw Verona “alive and kicking” despite their 3-1 home defeat to Juventus. “I’m sure we’ll fight to the very end.”
Hellas had managed to draw level with Martin Caceres after an early Blaise Matuidi scuffed finish, but Paulo Dybala sprung to life with a brace.
“Despite the difficulties we had tonight, I saw the team alive and kicking, playing good football and I’m sure we will be fighting to the very end to achieve our objective,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“Aside from the loss to Udinese, we’ve always put in strong performances lately, but need to pick up the points to show for it.
“We had the chances to do more damage on the counter-attack, but didn’t make the most of them this time around.”
Napoli are the Winter Champions, leading Serie A at the midway stage, while Juve have opened up a six-point gap from third-placed Inter.
“It’s a very open title race and will be a fight to the end. I believe Inter and Roma are also capable of challenging for the Scudetto,” concluded Pecchia.
