Three suspended for Week 20

There are three players suspended for Week 20 of Serie A, as Crotone, Roma, Milan and Verona receive fines.

This weekend sees the final round of Serie A fixtures before the winter break, and only three players will be unavailable.

Senna Miangue of Cagliari has been given a one match ban for his late red card in the win over Atalanta, while Bologna’s Adam Masina and Spal midfielder Luca Mora both picked up a fifth booking of the season.

Off the pitch, Crotone have been hit with a €4,000 fine after a club official entered the technical area to show a video replay during their defeat to Napoli, which featured a controversial penalty incident where it was claimed Dries Martens handled.

Roma have been given the same sanction after a firecracker was thrown toward the pitch, while Milan have been fined €2,500 for delaying the start of the second half of their game with Fiorentina.

Verona were fined €2,000 after a smoke bomb was thrown by fans, as well as seeing the Curva Sud closed for one game, with the sanction suspended for a year after the club helped identify the perpetrators.
