Verona are close to signing striker Ryder Matos from Udinese, while targeting Bologna’s Bruno Petkovic and Lucas Boye of Torino.
Hellas have recovered from a disastrous start to the season, but remain in the danger zone and need reinforcements.
According to Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia, they have practically agreed terms with Udinese to sign Brazilian forward Matos.
The 24-year-old came through the Fiorentina youth academy, also playing for Cordoba, Palmeiras and Carpi.
However, Sky Sport Italia insist Matos is only an alternative to their real targets, Bologna’s 23-year-old Croatian Petkovic and Torino’s Boye.
Another option would be Benevento wide man Marco D’Alessandro.
