Sinisa Mihajlovic leaves Torino with a win percentage of 36.51 in Serie A, taking his average to 33.7.
The Serbian Coach was sacked by the Granata today, following yesterday’s defeat to Juventus in the Coppa Italia.
It’s the fourth sacking of his career, and the second time he’s been dismissed after losing to the Bianconeri.
After being appointed as Roberto Mancini’s assistant at Inter, Mihajlovic’s first job in Serie A was with Bologna in the 2008-09 season.
However, he was sacked in April after a 4-1 defeat to Sampdoria, leaving with a record of four wins, eight defeats and nine draws in his 21 games for a 19 per cent win percentage.
Mihajlovic’s next role was at Catania where, after being hired in December 2009, he led the island side to 13th place in Serie A, with a 39 per cent win ratio in Serie A.
He left the Elefanti at the conclusion of the season and made the move to Fiorentina.
After a decent ninth-place finish in the 2010-11 season, things went downhill in the Serbian’s second campaign and he was sacked after just 10 matches, which had yielded three wins, four defeats and three draws.
Arguably the most successful period of his career came at Sampdoria, who appointed Mihajlovic in November 2013.
Having replaced Walter Zenga, Miha guided the Blucerchiati to 12th place, before securing Europa League qualification in the following season with a seventh place finish.
His 64 games with Samp brought 23 Serie A wins, improving on the ratio he had with Fiorentina.
That form prompted Milan to take a chance on the former Inter man, but despite a 40.6 per cent win ratio in Serie A - and 50 per cent overall - he was sacked in April and replaced by Cristian Brocchi.
That summer brought a move to Torino, but Mihajlovic was unable to deliver the Europa League qualification the Granata craved.
Mihajlovic’s Serie A stats:
