“There is strong motivation in facing a side we were well beaten by five months ago, to prove that we are not the same team people saw back then.
“We are in a positive period of form and this is the best chance we’ve had in a while to beat one of the big clubs. I think that with our mentality, we can fight it out with everyone, including teams who are on paper stronger than us.
“We already showed against Milan that we can cause serious problems. I will always be tied to Inter because of my past there, but I must focus on the team I play for and I’m proud to be representing Fiorentina tonight.”
