Blerim Dzemaili is set to return to Bologna following a loan spell at Montreal Impact, while Sion’s Pajtim Kasami could also arrive.

Swiss international Dzemaili left the Rossoblu in May to join the Major League Soccer side but has failed to properly settle in Canada.

As such, he requested to be allowed to cut short his spell across the pond, with both Bologna and the Impact owned by Italian-Canadian businessman Joey Saputo.

With star man Simone Verdi linked with a move away from the club, transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Bologna also want to sign Dzemaili’s compatriot Kasami.

The 25-year-old midfielder, also a Swiss international, is currently plying his trade in his homeland following spells with Olympiacos, Nottingham Forest and Fulham.
