Torino will activate their option to buy Tomas Rincon from Juventus today, at a total cost of €9m.
The midfielder arrived on loan for €3m with an option to buy that would become obligatory once he played 21 games.
He is in the starting XI for today’s meeting with Bologna and therefore the move becomes permanent.
Toro are due to pay Juventus €6m, although there could be another €1m on top for performance-related bonuses.
It means Juve have managed to make a profit on Rincon, despite buying him from Genoa for €8m only a year ago.
Rincon has scored one goal in 20 competitive games for Toro this season.
