Former Juventus full-back Paolo De Ceglie has signed for Swiss side Servette FC.

The 31-year-old had been a free agent after his loan spell at Olympique Marseille ended in June 2017.

He played 128 games in the Bianconeri jersey, also featuring over his career for Siena, Genoa and Parma.

“This arrival confirms the plans announced to the public earlier this season,” said director general Constantin Georges.

“He represents an evident reinforcement for our defence and added experience at the disposal of our coaching staff.”

De Ceglie will wear shirt number 23 at Servette.

“SFC is a great club, very well-known, with a glorious past and a wonderful history,” De Ceglie told the official Servette website.

“I am happy to participate in this second half of the season alongside my new teammates.”

His contract runs to the end of the current campaign.
