Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet next season for less than his €25m release clause, it’s reported.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the two clubs worked out terms to make the move happen this summer.

Although Praet has a €25m release clause in his contract, the Bianconeri have been able to negotiate it down by securing him early.

They will also include some players in an exchange deal for the Belgium international.

Sampdoria snapped up the Belgium international from RSC Anderlecht in August 2016 for €10m and are going to more than double that sum in the space of two years.

This season, Praet has contributed three assists in 18 Serie A appearances for the Blucerchiati.

He had also been heavily linked with Everton and Newcastle United.
