Fiorentina are interested in Yohann Cabaye, but are put off by the Crystal Palace midfielder’s age and salary.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Viola have been considering a January swoop for the Frenchman who turns 32 tomorrow.
His current contract with the Eagles is set to expire in June, so he’d be available for a cut-price fee.
However, Fiorentina are hesitating because his wage demands are considered excessive for someone of his age.
Cabaye has four goals in 48 senior caps for France and joined Palace from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2015.
