Faouzi Ghoulam and Arkadiusz Milik have both been given the all-clear to return to Napoli training, according to reports.
Both players have been sidelined with cruciate ligament injuries, but had a check-up with professor Pierpaolo Mariani this morning.
Now Sky Italia is reporting that both players have been given the all-clear to return to group training with the Partenopei.
Ghoulam picked up his injury in November’s loss to Manchester City, and an ACL tear would ordinarily mean at least four months on the sidelines.
However, it appears the Algerian is ready to return to training, so he could be on the pitch in a month or so.
That recovery is reminiscent of Roberto Baggio’s two month recovery from a similar injury in 2002.
Milik also picked up a cruciate ligament injury in September, his second in under 12 months.
