Roma sporting director Monchi says “so far no offer has arrived” for midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The Belgian international has been linked with Guangzhou Evergrande, who were said to be willing to offer a €50m transfer fee and a salary of €12m per season.
“So far no offer has arrived,” Corriere dello Sport quotes Monchi as saying, in this morning’s edition.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal with Guangzhou was practically done on Friday, and Nainggolan has accepted the move.
However, it would have been a €6m loan with an obligation to buy and consultant Franco Baldini insisted that wasn’t good enough.
The newspaper believes the Giallorossi are still willing to listen to offers for their players, but they’d prefer to sell Kevin Strootman or Emerson Palmieri, with Liverpool showing interest in the latter.
