Italy will play their friendly against Argentina at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on March 22 or 23, it’s reported.
The Azzurri failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, but are playing a number of friendlies, even though the Nazionale currently does not have a Coach.
On an interim basis, Under-21 Italy boss Gigi Di Biagio should be taking charge during these games.
According to TyC Sports, the match with Argentina has been scheduled for the Etihad Stadium, used by Manchester City.
The plan is to play on Friday March 23 and the Argentine FA is resisting attempts to bring that forward to Thursday March 22.
Argentina will play Spain at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on Tuesday March 27, while that same day the Azzurri visit England at Wembley.
