Inter have reportedly raised their offer for Rafinha, and expect an answer from Barcelona by tomorrow.

The Brazilian midfielder made his first appearance for the Bluagrana in 290 days last night, in the Copa del Rey defeat to Espanyol.

The Nerazzurri are keen to bring him to Italy this month, but they can only loan him due to Financial Fair Play constraints.

According to Corriere della Sera, talks initially broke down because Barça insisted on an obligation to buy if Inter qualify for the Champions League.

According to Corriere della Sera, talks initially broke down because Barça insisted on an obligation to buy if Inter qualify for the Champions League.

The Beneamata are unwilling to make that commitment, so are now proposing a free loan with a €35m option to buy.
