Stephan Lichtsteiner says he is expecting to be named in Juventus’ Champions League squad for the knockout stages.

Lichtsteiner was left out of Juve’s squad for the group stage, despite the Bianconeri losing Dani Alves and having only Mattia De Sciglio as a recognised right-back.

However, the Swiss has clawed himself back into contention and helped the Old Lady beat Genoa 1-0 on Monday.

“Back in the Champions League squad? Yes, I think so,” he told TMW Radio.
