Monaco are now the favourites to sign Genoa’s 16-year-old striking sensation Pietro Pellegri, claim Sky Sport Italia, ahead of Juventus.
The forward doesn’t turn 17 until March, yet already has eight Serie A appearances and three goals under his belt.
According to transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the bidding war is hotting up and now Monaco are most likely to sign Pellegri.
That’s because the Principality club has offered €20m plus another €10m in performance-related bonuses.

Monaco also have a long history of getting the best out of very young players, such as Kylian Mbappé, whereas at Juventus he’d go straight into the Primavera youth team first.
