The winger wants to join the Partenopei this month, but his current club have warned there is interest from elsewhere.

Juventus are said to be one of the interested clubs, but general manager Giuseppe Marotta declared yesterday that they will do no January business.

According to calciomercato.com, Politano doesn’t want to move to Turin anyway, as he wants playing time and has been assured he’ll get that under Maurizio Sarri.

The website believes there is a rough agreement on a contract, but so far the two clubs have been unable to reach a deal.

It’s thought Napoli have now raised their offer to €20m plus Adam Ounas on loan, but there are only two days left in which to get a deal done.
