CONI, the Italian Olympic Federation will hold an extraordinary meeting today to appoint commissioners for the FIGC and Lega Serie A.

The Italian FA failed to elect a new President earlier this week, while the league has been without a chief since April last year.

Today CONI President Giovanni Malago will appoint commissioners for both, with calciomercato.com reporting that he could even install himself as head of the Lega Serie A.

For the FIGC, Roberto Fabbricini, who is the secretary general of CONI, is the favourite to be appointed.
