“I am sure Crotone can put in a great performance if we put into practice what we test out in training, even if it’s at San Siro and against Inter,” said Zenga in his Press conference.

“The Nerazzurri have a very impressive run of results this season, but all runs are made to be broken. Inter are without Mauro Icardi, but still have very important players who can make the difference. In any case, I’d always want to face opponents at their strongest.

“Inter must always play to win in every circumstance and have a vast squad to choose from. Obviously, it’ll be a different game from the others for me.”

Zenga won the Scudetto as a goalkeeper at Inter, coming up through their youth academy to play for the Nerazzurri from 1982 to 1994.

Crotone make the trip without injured Mario Sampirisi, who had surgery today to stabilise a fractured cheekbone, but Zenga expects great things of Andrea Nalini.

“It’s as if he’s a new signing for us and now needs to play consistently. He was supposed to make his comeback last week, but he felt uncertain, so we postponed it for a few days.”

Crotone squad for Inter: Cordaz, Festa, Stoian, Rohden, Ceccherini, Nalini, Barberis, Ricci, Izco, Suljic, Budimir, Pavlovic, Zanellato, Capuano, Trotta, Simic, Faraoni, Mandragora, Viscovo, Martella, Crociata, Benali, Ajeti, Simy
