Former Juventus left-back Patrice Evra is set for an imminent return to football with West Ham United.
According to BBC Sport, Evra has agreed terms with West Ham, while Gianluca Di Marzio’s website adds he will undergo a medical on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Olympique Marseille in November after kicking one of the club’s fans in the face before a Europa League match.
He was banned from UEFA competitions until June but is free to play in the Premier League for the Hammers.
Evra played 82 times for Juve between 2014 and 2017, winning two Serie A titles and picking up a Champions League runners-up medal.
The Frenchman also began his professional career in Italy with lower-League sides Marsala and Monza.
