Maxi Lopez named Lautaro Martinez and ignored Mauro Icardi when he was asked about Argentina’s starting striker at the World Cup.
Lopez and Icardi were involved in a highly-publicised love triangle with Wanda Nara, who left the Udinese striker for the Inter captain, and the 33-year-old appeared to take a swipe at his fellow Argentine.
“I kept away from gossip more than the other parties involved,” he told La Stampa.
“My release has always been football, and this story also made me grow.

Lautaro, for his part, is expected to join Inter in the summer, with his agent describing the chances of a move as “99 percent” likely.
