Valon Behrami believes the key to Massimo Oddo’s success at Udinese has been ‘getting back to simplicity.’

The former Pescara Coach replaced the sacked Luigi Del Neri in November and has transformed the Bianconeri’s season, taking them from possible relegation contenders to European hopefuls.

“The boss has brought enthusiasm and high intensity in training,” Switzerland international Behrami told Tuttosport.

“We needed to get our self belief back, starting with the simple things.

“More than anything else, we needed to get back to simplicity.

“Our squad is good, but given that it was changed quite a lot over the course of the summer we needed to start again from the foundations.”

Udinese's next Serie A clash is a trip to Torino tomorrow afternoon.
