Bruno Peres has been dropped for this weekend’s game with Benevento and fined after crashing his car, confirmed Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

The full-back was involved in an accident this week and reportedly failed a breathalyser test too.

“In my view, we should approach this incident the same way we did the Radja Nainggolan one,” said Di Francesco in his Press conference.

“We decided to fine him and exclude him from the squad this Sunday, just as we did with Radja.

“It takes time to give the squad a certain mentality, I hope this is the last time we need to take such action, even if these massive errors help you to learn and grow.

“They mustn’t be made in the first place, though, and must certainly not happen again.”

Nainggolan was fined and dropped for one match in January after he posted a video on social media featuring him very drunk on New Year’s Eve, swearing and making offensive comments.
