Eder insists Inter are “united” after ending their two-month drought to beat nine-man Bologna 2-1. “We’re on track.”
The Nerazzurri hadn’t won in eight matches, but avoided setting a new club record by sealing the San Siro success.
“We really wanted to win today and it’s even better that the points arrived after we fought so hard,” Eder told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have to keep going like this, as we are now third behind Napoli and Juventus, so we’re on track for the targets the club set. We are all fighting for the same objective and we’ll be there to the end.
“Lazio and Roma are two strong sides, so I think it’s going to be a very interesting battle for the top four.”
Eder scored in both games where he started in place of injured Mauro Icardi.
“I am glad that I was able to help the team, but Mauro is very important for us and I hope he can recover as soon as possible. We need him.
“The locker room is very united, the Coach knows that and puts his faith in everyone. I can guarantee the team is united, unfortunately with social media nowadays if you don’t ‘like’ a post, someone will try to stir up non-existent controversy.”
