“We did very well in the first half, but then the strength of players who are of a superior level emerged and Roma dominated the second half,” De Zerbi told Mediaset Premium.
“There is a big gap now between us and the teams in the safety zone, so we have to be more daring and attacking in every situation, because it’s necessary.
“We have to pass it out from the back because these are the characteristics of our players. If we had an Edin Dzeko type upfront, we could try long balls, but our forwards are all short and quick.”
