Juventus will reportedly return to 4-2-3-1 for tonight’s Tottenham Hotspur game, matching up with the English side.
The Bianconeri have been playing with a 4-3-3 in recent weeks, but operated with a 4-2-3-1 system for the second half of last season.
With Blaise Matuidi out injured, it was reported that Rodrigo Bentancur would take his place, but Coach Massimiliano Allegri hinted yesterday he could change the shape.
Now Sky Italia is reporting that Allegri will go back to 4-2-3-1, allowing him to play all three of Mario Mandzukic, Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi.
Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic will occupy the central midfield roles, with Mattia De Sciglio replacing Stephan Lichtsteiner at right-back.
Spurs are also expected to line-up in a 4-2-3-1 shape, with Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen supporting Harry Kane.
