Sarri avoids touchline ban

Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri has avoided a touchline ban after being sent to the stands against Lazio.

The Partenopei boss was dismissed just before half-time at the San Paolo, after protesting about a refereeing decision.

Today the Lega Serie A has released its disciplinary report, and while the Coach has been given an official warning he won’t face a ban.

Napoli have been fined €10,000 for the behaviour of their fans, after firecrackers and flares were thrown at the visiting Lazio fans, though fortunately no-one was hurt.

Fiorentina have been hit with a €2,500 fine after a smoke bomb was launched onto the pitch against Juventus.

On the pitch, Bologna pair Adam Masina and Ibrahima Mbaya are both banned for Week 25 after being sent off against Inter, as is Rodrigo Palacio after a fifth booking of the season.

Also crossing the disciplinary threshold are Milan’s Franck Kessié, Federico Mattiello of Spal and Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva.
