“There are two games to decide who goes through to the next round of the Champions League. It’s important to play with intelligence, as Tottenham are a tough opponent who are still unbeaten this year,” the director of sport told Mediaset Premium.

In the absence of Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi, Allegri has decided to unveil a 4-2-3-1 formation with all the attacking players on the pitch.

“Allegri accustomed us to surprises and nobody better than him can choose the best system and players to use. The change of tactics is something he came up with.

“It’s good to have Gigi Buffon back in this most difficult period of the season and he adds something to the squad. Clearly, with regards to his future, everyone has to reflect on the situation, first of all him. There is respect between us and it’s only right that he decides his future.”
