Under soars again in Udine

Cengiz Under hit another screamer for his fourth goal in three games, giving Roma another hard-fought 2-0 win away to Udinese.

Roma have now won the last 10 head to head games with Udinese in Serie A, last stalling in a 1-1 draw here in March 2013. Their most recent defeat on Friuli soil was 2-0 all the way back in November 2011.

It was a frantic match at the Dacia Arena, with Alisson Becker decisive on several occasions in the first half and penalty appeals waved away via VAR as the ball struck Ali Adnan’s arm.

Turkish talent Cengiz Under took centre-stage yet again, as he unleashed a left-foot rocket with a wicked bend from 20 metres out.

Diego Perotti came off the bench and made the most of an error, as Seko Fofana was caught in possession, to seal Roma’s third consecutive victory.
