The Partenopei had lost here 3-1 to RB Leipzig on Thursday and were criticised in some quarters for so obviously favouring Serie A ahead of European competition.
“We gave a great response, because on Thursday we really didn’t do well,” Insigne told Sky Sport Italia.

“This afternoon we proved again that we can get a result against anyone, no matter their playing style. We prepared all week for this with great concentration. In the end, we won thanks to an individual run from Allan, because we still didn’t have the right level of determination.
“We know that to win the Scudetto, we have to win every single game and go out there with that lone focus every weekend.”
