The FIGC says Li Yonghong’s reassurances about Milan’s finances have made it “feel calmer but not completely.”

Li released a statement on Tuesday, claiming Milan’s finances were in order, amidst more investigations into his finances and even talk of bankruptcy, and commissioner Roberto Fabbricini was cautious in his response.

“Special attention, care and caution is needed,” he told RMC Sport.

The FIGC says Li Yonghong’s reassurances about Milan’s finances have made it “feel calmer but not completely.”

Li released a statement on Tuesday, claiming Milan’s finances were in order, amidst more investigations into his finances and even talk of bankruptcy, and commissioner Roberto Fabbricini was cautious in his response.

“Special attention, care and caution is needed,” he told RMC Sport.

“I still have faith in Milan as a club, given they’re a heritage of Italian sport. I think if there’s a big problem, it’ll be dealt with by them and Lega Serie A.

“It’s a concern that we must have, but we must try to understand it. A statement like yesterday’s makes us feel calmer but not completely.

“Meeting? I’ll go back to Rome on Saturday and see if I can talk to [CEO Marco] Fassone to discuss this situation and see whether there are any grounds for us and the fans to be reassured.”
