Lorenzo Insigne insists “it’s not true that Napoli snub the Europa League and we want to make up for” their first leg loss to RB Leipzig.
The first leg ended 3-1 at the Stadio San Paolo and there are only small hopes of turning around such a massive loss.
“We really want to make up for that performance, as we know that we must score three goals, but if we start strong with the right mentality, then we can cause them problems,” said Insigne in his Press conference.

“Many people say that Napoli snub Europe, but that’s not true. We like playing in Europe and we want to win. It’s horrible seeing Napoli top of the Serie A table and going out of the Cups, but we want to go through.
“We didn’t underestimate RB Leipzig, but we did have the wrong approach at the start. They have very good players and we simply had to do better.
“The Coach has faith in all of us and we play for the team, not the individual.”
