Jeison Murillo insists it was not ‘crazy’ of him to leave Inter for Valencia last summer but rather “a very good decision”.
Murillo swapped first-choice status at Inter for the challenge of helping Valencia turn their fortunes around, and the move has paid off despite a hip injury, with the Spaniards in La Liga’s top four.
“I’m happy here,” the defender told WinSports.
“People may think that going from Inter to Valencia is crazy, but it’s not like that.
“In my opinion, it was a very good decision because I’m at a big team, where we’re competing very well at one of the best Leagues in the world.
“My intention is to get back to my best. I’m succeeding and I’m happy with the team’s results so far.”
