Monaco defender Andrea Raggi believes Claudio Ranieri and Mario Balotelli should form part of the new-look Italy.
Raggi worked under Ranieri at Monaco between 2012 and 2014 and has played against Balotelli for the past two years, leaving the veteran in a position to comment on the pair’s suitability for the national team.
“Ranieri is ready and has everything it takes to be the next Coach of the Italian national team,” the former Azzurrini stopper said at a Press conference.
“Balotelli? He is a great player and can be an extra weapon for Italy. He’s showed in these two years in France that he’s in great shape. He scores in almost every match.”
