De Zerbi: 'Madness at San Siro'

Benevento Coach Roberto De Zerbi assures the bottom of the table club will visit Inter tonight “with a little pinch of madness.”

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 GMT, click here for a match preview.

“The fact we beat Crotone last week not only extends our hopes of survival, but also increase the awareness we can do well,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“Our performances against Napoli and Roma boosted our self-confidence, even though we are facing a side stronger than us and run by one of Italy’s best Coaches.

“We will go to Milan with humility, but also a crazy desire to get a result, because it could represent the turning point in our season. I don’t want my players to get distracted looking around at the lights of San Siro or the stands, not even the colours of the Inter jerseys.

“I want them to show that little pinch of madness that hey can really get a result here. I don’t say this because Inter are struggling, but because we have a desperate need for points and will do against Lazio and Juventus too.”

Benevento brought in a lot of experience during the January transfer window, including Sandro, Bacary Sagna and Guilherme.

“I expect a very physical game. We are going to San Siro to get a result and not just to say we were there.

“I look at the fixture list as motivation and to get a feasible idea of what we want to achieve. There are so many matches left to go and anything is still possible.”

Marco D’Alessandro and Luca Antei are out injured, with Fabio Lucioni continuing his ban for failing a doping test.
