Zenga: 'Wary of SPAL crisis'

Walter Zenga warns Crotone that he is “always wary of teams coming off a negative period” as they go head-to-head with SPAL.

It kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 GMT, click here for a match preview.

“I am always wary of teams who are coming off a negative period,” said Zenga in his Press conference.

“The fact we still have an advantage with Benevento, Verona and SPAL behind us must give us the strength and calm to keep pushing on. It’d also be a huge advantage in the head-to-head results.

“We haven’t changed our preparation for this game, not even the timing of our training sessions. We need the same attitude we showed against Benevento, running for 90 minutes and honouring the jersey. Our approach mustn’t change, whether we’re facing the leaders or those at the bottom of the table.”

Adrian Stoian and Stefan Simic are out of action along with long-term absentee Marco Tumminello.

Crotone squad for SPAL: Cordaz, Viscovo; Ceccherini, Pavlovic, Capuano, Sampirisi, Faraoni, Martella, Ajeti; Rohden, Barberis, Izco, Zanellato, Mandragora, Crociata, Benali; Nalini, Ricci, Budimir, Trotta, Simy, Diaby
