“Valencia CF has reached an agreement with the 'scouting manager' of Juventus, Pablo Longoria, who joins the club on a four-year contract as Director of Scouting, Analysis and Recruitment, a new position to reinforce the club’s existing structure.

“The move fits in with our goal, already set out by Director General Mateu Alemany, of working with a strong backroom staff, and following national and international transfer markets in depth, with special attention paid to young talent, above all locally.

“In this sense, VCF reinforces its sporting structure with the dual priorities of optimising the arrival of the best young players to the Academy and then to the First Team, as well as identifying and signing the best talent on the market, in a competitive environment.

“Pablo Longoria was 'scouting manager' at Juventus, co-ordinating all their scouts at under-20 level, since 2015. Prior to that, he was head of scouting at Sassuolo, an international scout at Atalanta and a scout at Recreativo Huelva.”
