Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi and Lazio’s Adam Marusic have both been given two game bans for their red cards at the weekend.
Both players were dismissed when the sides met at the Mapei Stadium this weekend, with the Biancocelesti going on to win 3-0.
Berardi was given a fifth booking of the season, before then being shown a straight red for a tackle on Stefan Radu.
As a result, he’s been banned for crossing the disciplinary threshold and for his red card.
Marusic was found to have deliberately elbowed Rogerio and has also been banned for two games.
Torino’s Nicolas Burdisso, Jens Larsen of Udinese, Spal’s Pasquale Schiattarella and Verona full-back Romulo are all banned for a week after crossing the disciplinary threshold.
Roma have been fined €10,000 after fans threw firecrackers which exploded “in close proximity to several people”.
