Speculation had arose in the last few hours of Candreva making a shock return to Lazio at the end of the season, but Federico Pastorello asserted the 30-year-old was going nowhere.
“There's never been a chance for him to go back,” he told cittaceleste.it.

Candreva joined the Nerazzurri from the Aquile in the summer of 2016 and has scored eight goals and assisted 19 in 71 appearances at San Siro.
