Khatskevich: 'Don't know what'll happen'

Dynamo Kiev Coach Aleksandr Khatskevich explained his choices at the Stadio Olimpico after a 2-2 draw with Lazio.

This was the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.

“I want to thank the team for today’s performance. It’s only the first leg, but we anxiously await the second,” said the Dynamo Kiev Coach in his Press conference.

“The side attacked and defended well, those who were chosen to play were the ones in the best physical and psychological condition, and I am referring to the absence of Evgen Khacheridi.

“Artem Besedin put in a good performance, even if he wasn’t in perfect shape.”

Denys Garmash will be suspended for the second leg, as he was already on a yellow card when he said something to the referee after the final whistle and was sent off.

He was so incensed that he had to be held back by teammates from confronting the official.

“I don’t want to comment on Garmash’s behaviour.

“I don’t know what will happen in the second leg. The further forward we go in the tournament, the more difficult the opponents. Obviously, we’ll have help from our fans in Kiev.”
