United to bid for Juve’s Alex Sandro?

Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign Juventus’ Alex Sandro and would be prepared to double his wages.

The Brazilian has been with the Old Lady since 2015, when he joined from Portuguese outfit Porto.

He has won both Serie A and the Coppa Italia in each of his two full seasons in Turin since then, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most impressive left-backs in the process.

And according to the Daily Mirror, the 27-year-old is now on United’s radar.

The English daily claims that Jose Mourinho’s side will spend big once again this summer and are prepared to pay £70m in order to secure Sandro’s services.

It is also believed that in order to entice the player to Old Trafford, the Red Devils would be willing to double his existing wages at Juve to £145,000 a week.

United are currently second in the Premier League and will be looking to join the Old Lady in the Champions League quarter finals when they face Sevilla in the second leg of their last 16 tie in midweek.
