“Things are going well at the moment, but we mustn’t drop our guard against a team in good shape, with a passionate stadium that has been waiting for Juventus to visit for 50 years.”

Napoli don’t play Genoa until Sunday evening, so Juventus have the opportunity to go seven points clear for at least 24 hours.

“I keep repeating the same thing, even when we were in second or third place. We have to ignore everyone else and focus only on ourselves. That is the mentality we need and it comes from being aware of our own capabilities.”
