SPAL striker Mirco Antenucci thanked the fans at the Stadio Mazza and admits their draw with Juventus was “something to be proud of.”
The Spallini are the first side to stop Juve finding the net on their travels in all competition since Barcelona at Camp Nou in September.
“It’s an important point that allows us to continue our fight for Serie A safety,” Antenucci told Mediaset Premium after a 0-0 draw.
“This is result is something to be proud of and we’re really happy with it.”
The club from Ferrara are in their first Serie A season for 50 years and the crowd at the Stadio Mazza never stopped singing.
“There’s a special feeling between me and these SPAL fans. Tonight they were really wonderful.”
