Blaise Matuidi admits he found Juventus ‘tiring’ at first but credits his first six months at the club for making him ‘stronger’.
Matuidi has impressed in his first season with Juve, making 38 appearances since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but the Frenchman confesses it has not all been plain-sailing.
“Madrid? They’re the toughest team we could’ve been drawn, given they’re the current European champions,” the midfielder told Canal+
“They’ll be two big games. The first game will be at home and we must try to win it, although we have the quality to do so.
“You work hard at Juve and feel tired at first, but you get used to it. I feel stronger physically and I think everything is due to the work of the last six months.”
