Borja Valero’s agent insists “Fiorentina behaved well” with his client, despite pushing him to Inter in the summer.
The Spanish midfielder never wanted to leave the Viola, but his relationship with sporting director Pantaleo Corvino broke down and he joined the Nerazzurri in July.
“It’s not easy to change city after a good period with Fiorentina,” Alejandro Camano, Valero’s agent, told RMC Sport.
“He’s arrived in a city like Milan which is bigger, incredible, and in a bigger team. What is true though is Borja’s love for Fiorentina and it’s not just him, his wife and son were very happy in Florence.
“Fiorentina behaved well with Borja, and everything that didn’t go well is in the past now…”
