“Aside from the result, we put in a good performance tonight and can begin to move forward,” Insigne told Rai Sport.

“I think we caused Argentina a lot of problems. If my goal or Ciro Immobile’s chance had gone in, we’d be talking about a very different game.

“We all know how the World Cup campaign ended, but if we focus only on the past, we’ll never move forward. Our duty is to work hard and improve.”
