Napoli are prepared to pay over €20m for Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin, according to reports, as he is their first choice.
The Partenopei did not offer Pepe Reina a new contract and he is already in advanced negotiations for a move to Milan as a free agent.
A replacement needs to be found and Perin seems to be the number one candidate, as he is still young, yet brings experience in Serie A.
Il Mattino newspaper claims that Napoli are ready to break the bank for Perin, especially as he’d still be cheaper than Bernd Leno, who has a €28m release clause at Bayer Leverkusen.
The third option for the role would be current Liverpool shot-stopper Simon Mignolet.
