Real Madrid won’t make a move for Inter striker Mauro Icardi if his wife Wanda Nara is part of negotiations, it’s reported in Spain.
The Argentine is in many ways the ideal replacement for Karim Benzema, as he just turned 25 last month, yet already has 103 Serie A goals under his belt in just 180 games.
There is a release clause in his contract worth €120m, but Diario Madridista claims there is a precise reason why we won’t be seeing Icardi at the Bernabeu.
It is suggested the club won’t negotiate with Wanda Nara, who is both Icardi’s wife and agent, although the situation could change if a trusted intermediary were to join the process.
She is not the only agent black-listed by Real Madrid, as they are also refusing to do business with Mino Raiola.
