Gennaro Gattuso has reportedly agreed to stay on as Milan Coach for the next three years.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Gattuso will earn €2m a season plus bonuses and sign his three-year contract on Wednesday.

The newspaper explains the former Italy midfielder has pledged ‘to do everything necessary’ to bring the Diavolo back up and ‘repay the faith’ shown in him by the club.

Gattuso replaced Vincenzo Montella at the end of November and has won 13 of his 23 games in charge, leaving Milan just five points off the Champions League places and taking them into the Coppa Italia Final.
