Juventus boss Max Allegri has won the Panchina d’Oro prize for best Serie A Coach of the past year.

Allegri beat off competition from Atalanta’s Gian Piero Gasperini in second and Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri in third.

The 50-year-old guided Juve to their sixth consecutive Scudetto last season, as well as their third straight Coppa Italia.

He has also equalled Antonio Conte, Marcello Lippi and Fabio Capello for winning the award three times.
